Nearly 150 employers attended Career Services’ Recruitment Days this spring to interact with Penn College’s tomorrow makers and fill vital roles in their organizations.

Regular and postseason playoff success have been a way of life for Penn College softball teams throughout this century. This season, under Amber Savage, in her collegiate coaching debut, the Wildcats haven’t skipped a beat despite fielding an all-sophomore-and-freshman lineup, going 29-5 overall and 14-2 in the United East Conference, where they are seeded third and host sixth-seed Penn State Abington in a best-of-three series starting at 3 p.m. on Friday at the Lumber Yards.

Students in Concrete Construction classes have spent the semester practicing their craft through real-world challenges – meanwhile helping the college and the community.

The Journey Bank Community Arts Center was awarded a $2,500 grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. These funds will be used to support the 2026-27 Educational Series.

“Graphic Design 2026” opens Thursday, April 30, at The Gallery at Penn College and runs through May 8. The exhibition showcases the work of graduating seniors in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s graphic design major. An opening reception is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 1. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

To help the Children’s Learning Center celebrate Earth Day, Penn College horticulturalist Ben Myers led toddlers in an outdoor scavenger hunt and helped the center plant a tree.

The golf team made it four in a row United East Conference Championship titles, men’s and women’s tennis advanced to the conference semifinals, and the lacrosse and softball teams went undefeated last week.
