Welcome Week
Start the semester off right. Move in and check in quickly and safely with the help of our student and staff crew. Relax to a new student and guest lunch. Then, dive into events, learn more about resources or take care of last-minute needs.
Schedule
Welcome Week is for new students. This includes students that live on-campus, off-campus, or are commuting from home. This also includes transfer students and adult learners.
New Student Check-In (On-Campus, Off-Campus, Commuter Students)

Toolbox Drop-Off
- 9 AM – 4:30 PM
- Various locations
Drop off large/heavy toolboxes to temporary holding locations.
Permanent storage provided during your first class. Bring smaller handheld toolboxes to your first class.

Residence Hall Floor Meetings

On-campus students will have residence hall floor meetings in a variety of locations. The Resident Assistant will communicate with their residents about the location.
Off-Campus/Commuter Meet & Greet Reception
- 7 – 8 PM
- Campus Center Patio
Off-campus and commuter students are invited to a meet and greet reception where important information will also be provided.
Hypnotic Intoxication
- 8 PM
- Rose Street Commons Courtyard
Keith Karkut’s program, which has been showcased at around the United States, features the hypnosis of students while exploring the consequences of alcohol.
Water Wars
- 9:30 PM - midnight
- Professional Development Center (PDC), Lawn
Slip and slides, water wars, and other water competitions.
