Heather Dorman, MEd, PA-C, EMT-P

Heather Dorman earned her master’s degree in Instructional Systems-Educational Technology at Penn State University. She is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Physician Assistant Program, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She was the 2005 recipient of the Russell M. Trapp Professionalism Award. After graduation, she worked clinically as a Physician Assistant on the trauma surgery team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. She joined the college as a Clinical Director for the Physician Assistant Program in 2008 and became faculty in August 2018.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Dorman was a 1994 graduate of the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center Paramedic Training Institute. She was employed as a Paramedic Supervisor with Danville Ambulance Service MICU 120, providing pre-hospital advanced life support. During this time, she served as a clinical preceptor for paramedic students, and as adjunct faculty for several area paramedic programs.
