I am an assistant professor of geology and environmental science and have been teaching at Penn College since 2004. My prior experience in field-based geologic and environmental science research and mapping has led me to value the learning that occurs in these contexts. I try to incorporate similar authentic, problem-based and hands-on approaches in my face-to-face and online teaching.
