Welcome Weekend is where your college journey begins! Over the course of two days, you'll move into your residence hall (if you’re living on campus), get familiar with navigating campus, meet your program faculty, learn how to succeed at PCT, and connect with your fellow new students before classes start.
Move in and check in quickly and safely with the help of our student and staff crew. Relax at a new student and guest lunch. Then, dive into events, learn more about resources or take care of last-minute needs.
Welcome Weekend runs Friday through Saturday. Attendance is required and mandatory for all new and transfer students.
No. Just head to campus on Friday, January 8. There will be required programming throughout Friday and Saturday. Students should plan to attend activities each day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All you need to do is check in upon arrival at the Klump Academic Center. Check in according to the schedule below, see details for on-campus housing. Students and their guests should grab lunch before you get settled in. Programming is for students only.
Questions before you arrive? Student Engagement & First Year Initiatives. Penn College students and employees are on campus throughout the weekend to help you with all of your questions. And they will make your transition to Penn College a snap.

Campus offices will be open to assist incoming students throughout Welcome Weekend, and extended hours will be available for returning students on Saturday, January 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for most offices. See Guidebook for office locations (available for download in January).
This is your first stop of the day. Whether you’re living on campus or commuting from nearby, make sure you come to the Klump Academic Center at 12:00 p.m. to complete this step.
If you are living on campus, please plan to arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Dauphin Hall. There you will receive you key and housing assignment.
