Welcome Weekend

Start the semester off right. New students move in quickly and safely with the help of our student and staff crew on Friday, January 5. Returning students can begin moving in on Saturday, January 6 at 9 a.m. Use the weekend to take care of last-minute needs, participate in a Find Your Class Tour, and check out activities just for you!

New Students Move-In, 3 PM

After new students attend New Student Orientation, they can begin to move into their Residence Halls. Head to the Residence Life Office located in Dauphin Hall to pick up your keys.

 

Get Involved: Open Pool + Board Games, CC Commons, 4 - 8 PM

Cue the excitement and chalk up your cues because it's time for an Open Pool event. Need equipment? We have the pool balls, cues, and chalk.

 

New Student Dinner, CC Commons or Dauphin Hall, 4:30 - 6:30 PM

Are you a new student joining us for spring 2024? Join us for dinner in either CC Commons or Dauphin Hall, we will have food from local restaurants for you to try! It's free of course.

Residence Hall Move-In, 9 AM

Returning students can move in to their on-campus housing starting at 9 a.m.

 

Find Your Class Tour, Campus Center Lobby and Dauphin Hall Lobby, 9 - 11 AM

Orientation Leaders and Resident Assistants will tour new students across the main campus to become familiar with building and classroom locations. Bring your class schedule.

 

RISE (Real Information for Student Excellence), 

Center for Academic Excellence (DJG Room 1049), 10 AM - 1 PM

Start the semester strong by attending a workshop, or two. Start Strong Basics begins at 10:30 AM; Start Strong Mindset begins at 12 PM. Lunch will be available for those attending one or both of the workshops. 

New Student Brunch, Dauphin Hall, 11 AM - 1 PM

Are you a new student for spring 2024? Grab brunch over in Dauphin Hall from Real Taste Food Truck!

 

Get Involved: Free Play in the Field House, Field House noon - 4 PM

Stop by the Field House to participate in different tournaments on the hour, play ping pong or darts, check out the Campus Recreation options.

 

Get Involved: Sip and Paint, Dauphin TV Lounge, 3 - 5 PM

Enjoy a hot beverage and create a painting masterpiece for your new living arrangements.
