Kids Oral Health Day sees 34 children

Second-year dental hygiene students and dental hygiene faculty provided care for 34 children at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Kids Oral Health Day – an expanded version of the familiar Sealant Saturday events that began in 2003.

Physician assistant student selected for award

First-year physician assistant student Kara M. Emrich, of Harrisburg, was a recipient of the Thomas J. Lemley Award for Health Disparities. Emrich accepted the award at the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Associates annual conference on Nov. 1.
