Student exhibition opens at The Gallery at Penn College

“Graphic Design 2026” opens Thursday, April 30, at The Gallery at Penn College and runs through May 8. The exhibition showcases the work of graduating seniors in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s graphic design major.

An opening reception is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 1. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

“The Class of 2026 is a very talented, dedicated group,” said Brian A. Flynn, assistant professor of graphic design. “They have worked diligently over the past four years, which is evident in their projects on display in the gallery. I’m excited to see the great things they will accomplish in the years to come.”

Students exhibiting are Emma J. Bower, Montoursville; Tommy J. DiSalvo, Romansville; Triston P. Folmar, Chambersburg; Kaylena L. Harrell, Williamsport; Kelly A. Herb, Marysville; Benny M. Hornburg, Pittsburgh; Emma C. Kotz, Wellsboro; Kira R. Matos, Williamsport; Devon V. Parker, Williamsport; Mackenzie L. Reitnour, Williamsport; Natalie R. Sacharok, Wilmington, Delaware; Emily M. Scaife, Williamsport; Hannah J. Scalia, Huntingdon; Kayla E. Scampone, Williamsport; Tyler A. Scheetz, Brownstown; Riley J. Shipman, Harrisburg; Hailey P. Stroble, Thomasville; and Nadia V. Zimmerman, Auburn.

All have petitioned to graduate in May 2026 with their bachelor’s degrees in graphic design.

The annual exhibition displays the best design, illustration and web design work of graphic design majors in their final semester of study at Penn College. For the exhibition, design faculty select the top works developed by each student within their time at Penn College. The exhibition gives students a chance to present their work in marketing, branding, packaging, advertising and design to industry professionals and the community.

Penn College graphic design students have consistently earned recognition through their submissions to regional, national and international advertising design competitions.

The Gallery at Penn College began hosting the graphic design student portfolio exhibitions in 2008.

The gallery is open 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; noon to 4 p.m. Fridays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. (The gallery is closed on Mondays and Saturdays.)
