Thursday's "Up All Night" events across campus marked the imminent end of another semester at Penn College. A total of 658 hungry scholars were served at the popular Midnight Breakfast in the Keystone Dining Room; and Madigan Library tempered the butterflies with extended hours and a visit between 70-some students and eight very affectionate instructional aides. – Photos by Grace F.

A ceramics exhibit by four students and one faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Technology – “4+1=Five Hands in Clay” – will be offered Dec. 1-8 in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College. The exhibit will also feature an auction of 10 clay mugs on display from Nov. 29 through Dec. 8. An opening reception is set for Thursday, Dec. 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

A General Services crew braved a blustery morning to install 38 holiday cards designed by student groups and campus departments, sharing a "Happy Holidays" message with classmates and co-workers alike. Artist Amanda McCavour’s large-scale embroidery installation titled “Accumulate” has been named the winner of the People’s Choice award from the “Take Ten” exhibition held at The Gallery at Penn College this fall. The Toronto-based artist will receive a $500 cash prize.

A group of 90 high-schoolers spent Nov. 8 at Pennsylvania College of Technology, where they explored a variety of careers as part of National STEM Day. “STEM” is short for science, technology, engineering and math. According to the Population Reference Bureau, U.S.

Saudi Arabian students at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently organized a crosscultural presentation to familiarize the campus community with their homeland. One year after their initial program – which won two honors at the 2015 Student Activities Awards banquet – the Saudi Student Organization returned to the college’s Thompson Professional Development Center for a follow-up event.

Fall Open House, held Sunday at Pennsylvania College of Technology, provided an eye-opening experience for those considering enrollment with a national leader in applied technology education. Five student teams from Pennsylvania College of Technology battled it out Oct. 8 at the Williamsport Growers Market, using the best ingredients – fresh and locally produced – to determine the best student chefs of the morning. The two-man team of Cy C. Heller and R. Colby Janowitz were the top finishers in a tough competition. It was not the students’ first exposure to culinary competition.
