Penn College’s fourth annual “Wildcat Wars” tournament was but one of the activities on tap during "PC3," a cornucopia of fun for students seeking a bit of friendship, civic service and flat-out distraction to help them navigate the first three weeks of the semester.

Pennsylvania College of Technology once again helped embrace visitors to the Little League Baseball World Series, which begins Thursday and culminates in the title game on Sunday, Aug. 27. On the eve of play, the college hosted its ninth annual cookout for more than 350 Little League players, coaches, team "uncles," umpires and officials on the lawn outside the Bush Campus Center.

An internationally traveling poster show that has graced the walls of exciting venues like The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is on exhibit at The Gallery at Penn College through Oct. 11. The National Poster Retrospecticus (NPR) features hand-printed posters made by prominent designers from around the world.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Summer Commencement on Saturday at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Michael R. Harer, of Williamsport, who received an Associate of Applied Science degree in surgical technology, was the student speaker for the 11 a.m. ceremony. Pennsylvania College of Technology’s new brewing and fermentation science degree was highlighted at the Billtown Brewfest on Saturday. Held in downtown Williamsport at Midtown Landing, an area behind Trade and Transit Centre II, the festival featured 30 craft breweries offering tastings.

Artwork created by Brayden Cohick, a 2017 graduate of Williamsport Area High School, is on display in the lobby of The Gallery at Penn College through July 23. Cohick was selected to receive The Gallery at Penn College’s Artistic Excellence Award recognizing outstanding talent and achievement in the visual arts.
