Spectacular. Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams had multiple highlights during their record-setting 11th season as members of the United East Conference and eighth season as full-fledged members of the NCAA. The college finished third of 17 teams in the United East Presidents’ Cup, which annually recognizes the athletic achievements of its members.

Very challenging. That describes what the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship became due to a low-pressure weather system that produced wind, rain and cooler-than-normal temperatures for last week’s four-day tournament.

Penn College Athletics’ Male and Female Athletes of the Year kick off the new “WildCast” – a podcast giving listeners an all-access pass to the stories, struggles and successes of Wildcat student-athletes, their coaches and administrators. For the first time since 2018, the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team has an All-American. Casey Keiter of Dornsife became the 44th Wildcat to earn that distinction as the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals wrapped up Saturday at Lansing, Michigan, as a result of his top 10 indoor (9.867) and outdoor (9.208) national scores (19.075 total) in the men’s fixed pins discipline.

Each of the three times since 2021 that the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s golf teams have competed in the NCAA Division III Championship, their scores have improved. Coach Rob Lytle is hopeful of more of the same next week when his Wildcats are on the national stage for the third year in a row.
