Cleveland, Ohio, is the home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Pennsylvania College of Technology softball coach Angela Stackhouse hopes that her squad does some rock ‘n’ rolling of its own there later this week.

Pennsylvania College of Technology archers take to the biggest stage this coming week in the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals, and for the second year in a row, the women’s softball team is headed to the NCAA Division III Regionals.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. Athletics and Alumni Relations welcomed 45 alumni soccer players, who returned to the Penn College campus to rekindle and re-kick that competitive spirit.

While the United East Conference postseason continues for the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s softball team, it came to an end over the weekend for the college’s men’s lacrosse and baseball teams.

Penn College baseball and softball teams both are seeded fourth and will play at home going into their United East Conference playoff games on Friday in the best-of-three series. The baseball team will host fifth-seeded Cairn University at Bowman Field starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, with an “if needed” game starting at noon Saturday. The softball team will host fifth-seeded St. Elizabeth University at Elm Park at 1 and 3 p.m. on Friday, with an “if needed” game starting at noon on Saturday.

Coming off the winningest regular season in program history, Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s lacrosse coach Jordan Williams and his team could be satisfied with what they’ve already accomplished. But they want more.

A United East Championship three-peat. Five all-conference players, three of them on the first team. A three-time conference coach of the year. An Elite 20 honoree. The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s golf team had it all this season. And over the next week, the college’s men’s lacrosse, baseball and softball teams will be in a position for similar experiences when they step into postseason playoffs.

While the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s golf team seeks its third consecutive United East Conference championship on Friday and Saturday, men’s tennis players are making their first postseason appearance since 2018 in UE quarterfinal play on Saturday.

It takes a team effort! Penn College lacrosse players are among those joining forces to boost awareness of a fellow student’s father’s search for a kidney donor. The organ donor campaign, known as “Kidney 4 Clark,” is for Clark Pitura, a New York City police detective and father of Dylan Clark Pitura, a student enrolled in heavy construction equipment technology: technician emphasis.

With the final week of the regular season looming, crunch time has arrived and United East Conference playoffs are on the line for Pennsylvania College of Technology athletes in six spring sports.
