Dining Services partnered with Penn College resident assistants to host a Tasting Showcase. Dining Services cooks prepared several items focused on plant-based food options and Pennsylvania-sourced ingredients. Participants were asked to complete a survey to indicate what items they may be interested in seeing on college menus.
Three dental hygiene students recently learned by teaching in the college’s Children’s Learning Center. As part of a Community Dental Health class project, students worked with 4- and 5-year-olds at the center, teaching them about the effects of nutrition on oral health, cavities and how they occur, and brushing technique.

More than 300 companies – from Fortune 500 corporations to regional businesses – attended the March 4-5 event, offering ample full-time employment and internship opportunities. About 1,230 students engaged with employers in the college’s Bardo Gymnasium and Field House.

“Bringing Nature Back: One Yard at a Time!” is the title of a day-long workshop set for Saturday, March 15, in Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Klump Academic Center Auditorium. Featuring talks by two Penn College employees, the event is presented by Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Lycoming County in partnership with the Responsible Decarbonization Alliance.
