The second annual Aviators Ball repeated the success of last year’s inaugural event, organized by the Student Veteran Organization and held at Penn College’s Lumley Aviation Center at the Williamsport Regional Airport in Montoursville. Among events toasting out the academic year, the semi-formal affair featured games, music, photo ops, food and Wildcat connections.

Resident assistants stepped up to the plate (literally) and netted $128 for the Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity. For their “Spring All Hall,” Residence Life staff from Clinton, Delaware & Juniata Halls found a fun and sweet way to bring residents together for a good cause: They encouraged students to smash a plateful of whipped cream into the faces of resident assistants or staff.

Eighteen graduating seniors from Pennsylvania College of Technology’s architecture & sustainable design major will showcase their work in “Architecture & Sustainable Design: Senior Capstone Projects,” on display May 16-19 in The Gallery at Penn College. A reception for the exhibit is set for 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16, in the gallery on the third floor of The Madigan Library.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. Athletics and Alumni Relations welcomed 45 alumni soccer players, who returned to the Penn College campus to rekindle and re-kick that competitive spirit.

There’s always something intriguing going on at Penn College’s campuses, and one calm-weather day in April unfolded a controlled burn for the benefit of forest technology students and the Schneebeli Earth Science Center woodlands.

“Building Resilience – Making Positive Changes” was the theme of the fourth annual Wildcat Wellness Fair, hosted recently by students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology class, Counseling Services and Student Engagement. A showcase of student artwork and creative development was celebrated this past Friday with a reception honoring 12 talented graphic design students in their final semester of study at Penn College. “Graphic Design 2025” runs through Friday, May 9, in The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of The Madigan Library.

Can you survive a month in poverty? That was the key question at a recent Community Action Poverty Simulation explored by Penn College students in various majors in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences and School of Business, Arts & Sciences. Poverty simulations have been held at the college since Spring 2019, but the Spring 2025 event was the first to cast a wider net of cross-curricular collaboration.

Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. is increasing its longstanding support of Pennsylvania College of Technology. A leading global coatings company, Axalta has committed to an annual $15,000 donation of paint and related supplies for the next five years, benefiting collision repair and automotive restoration students

The Friday afternoon before finals stirred Wildcats into a frolicking frenzy, and the “Semester Send-Off,” hosted by the Office of Student Engagement, offered just the right ticket to fun.
