The first day of classes brought a welcome return of activity to many Penn College spaces that haven’t seen students since May. (But rest assured, plenty of spaces were still busy with classes, summer camps, renovations and more.) Penn College social media specialist Rob Hinkal captured a glimpse of the activity as students made their way to Monday morning classes and activities.

First-year students began their Penn College journeys Aug. 12 when, with a little help from family, resident assistants and campus volunteers, on-campus residents moved into their new homes-away-from home in Rose Street Commons.

Eight students participated in the new Penn College Leadership Development program last week, spending seven days learning the principles of leadership, exploring their own strengths and leadership style, and meeting community and corporate leaders.

Pennsylvania College of Technology and Lycoming College teamed up in the spring to present students with a chance to explore various cultures and study abroad opportunities.

The Penn College team didn’t meet its top-10 standard in the endurance race at Baja SAE New York, but their leader returned to campus proud of the students’ resiliency and optimistic about the future.

After several months of painstaking preparation by dedicated students, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Baja SAE team returns to action this week (June 11-14) at Baja SAE New York. Penn College will compete against an international field of 100 other colleges and universities in Palmyra, about 20 miles southeast of Rochester.

In the college’s 12th season as a member of the United East Conference, and ninth as a full-fledged member of the NCAA, program records were either set or matched by 10 Wildcat teams.

On May 1, the Office of Student Engagement, with support from several student groups, hosted the annual Spring Semester Send-Off. The event brought students together for an afternoon of celebration.

A tasty tradition since 1998, Midnight Breakfast served 632 participants on Thursday in the Capitol Eatery. Held twice a year by Dining Services to celebrate the semester’s end and help students fuel up for Finals Week, the Spring 2026 edition featured pancakes, ice cream, toppings and more.

The annual Student Leadership & Involvement Awards banquet celebrated the efforts of Penn College’s student organizations in 2025-26. The college's 68 student organizations played a vital role in shaping the student experience.
