PGA Tour member J.J. Henry will be the visiting pro at the 20th Annual Golf Classic, to be hosted by the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation on May 8 at the Williamsport Country Club. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Penn College Foundation Golf Classic Scholarship.
Tuesday's rain didn't dampen the sixth annual "Villapalooza," as about 150 students attended the event organized by Village Resident Assistants Amanda Miller, Rachel Hall, Marisa Labosky, Sarah Landis, Adam Sillaman, Doug Bloom and Spyke Krepshaw.

Retired Air Force Col. Timothy D. Bair was at the Lumley Aviation Center on April 20 to present results of the Space Shuttle Columbia accident investigation. Bair was a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board as an investigator from February to August 2002.

The second "Catch Me if You Can" Allyson Wilgar-Jones Memorial 5K Walk/Run attracted 115 participants Saturday, despite chilly weather. The walk/run is organized by Penn College nursing faculty in memory of Wilgar-Jones, a colleague who died in 2004 after a brief battle with cancer.
More than 150 students in 10th to 12th grades visited campus Friday to take part in the Outreach for K-12 Office's NanoTrek Camp. The students are enrolled in the 2+2+2 program, through which they take Penn College classes while in high school.
