The second annual "Catch Me If You Can" Allyson Wilgar-Jones Memorial 5K Walk/Run is scheduled for April 8 on the campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology. The race is organized by nursing faculty at Penn College in honor of Wilgar-Jones, a colleague who died in 2004 after a brief battle with cancer.

On Feb. 24, "The Crawdaddies" will perform at 9 p.m. at the Field House on the college's main campus.
The fourth annual "Kickoff, Mix-Off, Send-Off," a celebration encouraging students to make good decisions regarding alcohol and other drugs, travel, and sexual behavior during Spring Break, will be held Feb. 28 at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The event, which will be offered from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Actor-comedian Dave Coulier, whose many credits include the starring role of Joey Gladstone on the popular ABC-TV series "Full House" from 1987-95, will perform Saturday, Feb. 25, at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Tickets to the performance, which will be held at 9 p.m.

A NASA engineer will be on campus for Pennsylvania College of Technology's Visitation Day on Saturday, April 1, offering several presentations about the future of aviation. Donner Grigsby, a certified information systems security professional at NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia and the agency's 2004 "Speaker of the Year" is scheduled to speak at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Twenty-four students from home-school associations across the region spent the morning on campus in laboratories of the School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies. The students participated in hands-on activities in computer animation, fiber optics, robotics and plastics.
School districts from across Pennsylvania will send students to Pennsylvania College of Technology's Career Day on March 6 to explore career choices through hands-on activities and tours. The event is open to students in grades seven through nine, and schools as far away as Adams, Bedford and Cumberland counties typically bring busloads of students to the event.
