Representatives of Penn College's School of Natural Resources Management joined alumni relations and admissions staff at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg on Wednesday. The "Horticulture Wheel of Fortune" was very popular with youngsters, who would spin the wheel to identify the topic (soil, botany, landscaping, etc.) on which they would be asked a question.
The Gallery at Penn College, located on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Works From Wood," an exhibit by master wood engraver Raymond Gloeckler, from Jan. 23 to Feb. 18. Representatives of the Admissions and Alumni Relations offices, as well as faculty and students from Penn College's academic schools, are making their mark at the Pennsylvania Farm Show this week. A session to help families understand how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, sponsored by the Financial Aid Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, on the college's main campus in Williamsport. The Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation and the college's School of Hospitality teamed to present a "Happy Holidays" pastry buffet showcase on Dec. 17 to celebrate the foundation's 25th anniversary and to offer a capstone learning opportunity for baking and pastry arts students.
