Twenty-one Pennsylvania College of Technology students were hired by Levy Restaurants to help prepare meals for guests attending the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby on May 5.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Keystone Dining Room was recently transformed into the "Keystone Theatre" for the annual Grand Pastry Buffet.

Students in MTH 156 (Mathematics in Non-European Cultures) presented their study abroad projects in the Bush Campus Center TV Lounge this past week. The group traveled to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and studied the Mayan civilization. The Penn College community is welcome to sign up for next year's overland adventure through the rain forests and lowlands of the Mayan world.

Twenty senior students in the graphic design major at Pennsylvania College of Technology will display the best of their collegiate portfolio, as judged by graphic design faculty, during the "Design: 2012" exhibit at The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of the Madigan Library.

A faculty member in the School of Integrated Studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology was a presenter at two recent conferences. D. Robert Cooley, assistant professor of anthropology/environmental science, presented on March 24 at the Penn State Symposium for Teaching and Learning With Technology and on March 29 at the annual meeting of the Society for Applied Anthropology in Baltimore.
