Two years at the helm of the Pennsylvania College of Technology coed tennis team have produced two Penn State University Athletic Conference championships for coach Aimee Plastow, and she has high hopes for this year's team, too.

Pennsylvania College of Technology received grants totaling more than $70,000 to award need-based scholarships to students enrolled in its nursing majors. The Pennsylvania Higher Education Foundation awarded two Nursing Education Grants for 2010-11. A $59,455 grant was awarded to aid students pursuing degrees in nursing on the college's main campus in Williamsport.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's early childhood education degree recently earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The program received accreditation from the association's Commission on Early Childhood Associate Degree Accreditation in August. The accreditation process included an extensive self-study, as well as an external evaluation.

A triumvirate of industry leaders has included Pennsylvania College of Technology among the institutions to which it will donate collision repair and estimating software.
