Fiber art and medical technology meet with “A View Within,” an exhibit by two fiber artists creating personal interpretations of body images captured by CT scans, MRIs, X-rays and ultrasounds. Opening Oct. 2, “A View Within” is on display at The Gallery at Penn College through Nov. 1. An opening reception will be held Friday, Oct. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Students, employees and alumni were among the 1,963 fans attending Penn College's 16th annual “Pack the Park Night” in Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field this week.

A record-breaking number of students – 507, by official count – registered for Tuesday's conveniently combined Part-Time Job Fair and Fall Fusion. A variety of employers were stationed in the Field House, a busy venue made even more popular by its air conditioning, while outside, where a steamy Sept.

Pennsylvania College of Technology once again helped welcome visitors to Williamsport for the Little League Baseball World Series on Wednesday, hosting a cookout for the 16 Series teams and participating in the 11th annual Grand Slam Parade.

New and returning students greeted the start of a new semester during Penn College’s traditional Welcome Weekend festivities. After checking in on Saturday – and checking out their accommodations – the fall class processed into the Rose Street Courtyard for an official welcome, fireworks display and a hypnotist.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Summer Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Kyle G. Stavinski, of Elysburg, who was awarded an associate degree in emergency medical services, was the student speaker.
