C. Hank White, director of the Plastics Manufacturing Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently accepted the 2009 Society of Plastics Engineers Gold Pinnacle Award on behalf of SPE's Rotational Molding Division. Pennsylvania College of Technology student Bradley J. Stroup was recently named recipient of a $3,000 scholarship from the Society of Plastics Engineers Foundation. Stroup, a junior plastics and polymer engineering technology major from Mount Pleasant Mills, was awarded the foundation's Injection Molding Division Scholarship for 2008-09.

Donations from six companies have allowed Pennsylvania College of Technology to purchase engineering-related instructional equipment through a grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
