Taylor M. Kijak, scheduled to graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in plastics and polymer engineering technology, has been chosen as February's Student of the Month. Industry employees from far and wide converged in Penn College's Plastics Manufacturing Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, as the Rotational Molding Center of Excellence held its third hands-on workshop. Pennsylvania College of Technology's Plastics Manufacturing Center received grant funding from the Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corp. to provide training for Global Standards for Plastics Certification at three regional plastics companies. The grant funding totals $169,200 and will provide training and certification to 141 employees at the three plants.
