Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold Spring Visitation Day on Saturday, March 19, for prospective students, their families and other visitors who wish to learn more about the College, its academic majors and facilities.

The American Red Cross was pleased with the turnoutfor Thursday's Bloodmobile at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center, where a total of 51 pints was collected exceeding the goal for the day. The Red Cross and School of Natural Resources Management thank all who participated!

"Exploring England and France" will be the topic of a program to be presented from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library. The travelogue, which will be offered by Thomas D. Inman, associate professor of avionics in the School of Transportation Technology, will recall his adventures in those countries in 2003.

The Gallery at Penn College on the main campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology will host "Realism With a Surreal Edge," a collection of paintings by Babette Martino, from Feb. 22 to March 25. An opening reception will take place Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 3:30 to 6 p.m., with an artist's talk scheduled at 4 p.m. Both the opening and the talk are free and open to the public.

A group of Penn College students accepted the invitation to join Saturday's Mardi Gras Parade in Williamsport, adding to the colorfully costumed revelers that marchedon downtown streets. Taking part were Brady Hartman,Clayton Morrow, Nick Falvo, Wendy Mertzeis, Zach Albright, Bridget McCall, Kevin Batchelor and Kate McCall.

Pennsylvania College of Technology and the National Exercise Trainers Association, a nonprofit fitness-professional organization, are co-sponsoring three nationally recognized workshops at the College in April. All of the workshops will be offered at Bardo Gymnasium on Penn College's main campus. Personal Trainer Workshop, April 9-10This workshop will be offered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pennsylvania College of Technology invites the public to share in celebrating the completion of extensive renovations at its most historic building, the Klump Academic Center, formerly the Williamsport High School. A video tribute to the building, "Time Will Explain it All," will be shown at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Sundays throughout February on SusCom (the local cable TV provider) Channel 2.

Homecoming 2005, themed "Turn Up the Heat," was a great success despite the weather. Thirty-six students, representing 19 clubs and organizations, raised $1,240.35 in the Homecoming King and Queen charity event. At the Homecoming Dance, "A Night On Fire," Kristin Campbell and Andrew Lackman − both representing Campus View Apartments − were announced as this year's Homecoming royalty.
