Pennsylvania College of Technology will continue its "In Perfect Harmony: The Concert Series in The Gallery at Penn College" with a performance by jazz pianist Arthur Goldstein on March 29. Goldstein will perform in the gallery, on the third floor of the college's Madigan Library, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Approximately 1,000 seventh- to ninth-graders from 15 school districts and one homeschool visited Penn College's campuses Monday to learn about careers through hands-on activities and academic tours. Pennsylvania College of Technology recently received a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, through the Lycoming County Department of Public Safety, to support its second EMT-Paramedic Camp. The $2,000 grant provides about $1,500 for instructional supplies for the camp, with the remainder slated for publicity and advertising.

Two career-related events on Penn College campuses Tuesday offered mutually beneficial opportunities for employers and job-hungry students alike.

The College West Resident Assistants are at it again. Tuesday night, at the apartment complex courtyard, the Residence Life RA staff held an outdoor barbeque event: "Bring Your Own Meat!" The RAs inspired almost 50 residents to come out and enjoy a midsummer picnic/grilling atmosphere in mid-March.

A graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology's immediate predecessor institution was honored by the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce at its seventh annual Education Celebration.
