Marking a quarter-century of providing workforce and industry training and education to businesses and individuals in the Northern Tier, the North Campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology held a 25th anniversary celebration Tuesday for current and former staff and students and members of the local community.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold three commencement ceremonies on May 16-17 for the more than 1,000 students who have petitioned to graduate at the end of the Spring 2008 semester. A ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 16, for students in the schools of Construction and Design Technologies and Transportation Technology.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host an exhibit of ceramics by Williamsport Area High School junior Rachel Kempf in its lobby from May 2-13.

Women in Sports Day was observed Sunday in Penn's Inn, where more than 70 current female athletes, recruits, coaches and special guests celebrated women's sports at Penn College and honored this year's theme of "All In." Featured speaker Alison Tagliaferri, Wildcat women's basketball coach, talked about Title IX and the women who have had the most influence in her life.

Sunday marked the first Residence Hall Association Auction, which took place from 5-9 p.m. in the Field House. The "currency" used was Wildcat Hall Points that students accumulated throughout the academic year for attending RHA- and Residence Life-sponsored events.

The Energy Conservation Subcommittee of the Governance Facilities Committee will host a series ofrelevant discussions in observance of Environmental Awareness Week (April 21-24). Each day's program will take place between noonand 1 p.m. Monday's presentation will be held in CC, Room 164.
