Alain Nu, mentalist and star of "The Mysterious World of Alain Nu" on TLC, stopped by the Susquehanna Room on Friday afternoon to interact with students prior to his 8 p.m.show in the ACC Auditorium. Doubling off-campus police patrols, encouraging faculty and staff vigilance, and using the eyes and ears of the student body to report suspicious activities are among the weapons Pennsylvania College of Technology will use to support community safety in the wake of recent crimes in the city. An estimated 750 or more students turned out for a Tuesday afternoon meeting to discuss safety.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Planes of Aspiration," an exhibit of paintings by Maureen Drdak, from Jan. 15 to Feb. 12. An opening reception for the exhibit will take place Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with a talk by the artist scheduled at 5:30 p.m.

The Practical Nursing Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus recently held a graduation ceremony for 22 students.
