The syndicated "Entertainment Tonight" television show aired a report Thursday on Pennsylvania-born actor Michael Keaton's receipt of a Governor's Arts Award at a Nov. 12 ceremony in the Community Arts Center. Excerpts from the presentation, provided by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, also were posted to the "ET" Web site.
Pennsylvania College of Technology will host a variety of activities at the 2009 Pennsylvania Farm Show, to be held in Harrisburg Jan. 10-17. Throughout the day Saturday, Jan. 10, the college's School of Transportation Technology will offer demonstrations and hands-on activities in automotive, aviation and collision repair.

Penn College students created and auctioned chocolate houses along with cakes, candies, cookies and more to raise funds for Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity during its annual House for a Home event Friday. The event is one part of the School of Hospitality's Food Show, during which final projects from several advanced classes are judged and displayed for the public.
The Russell M. Trapp Memorial 5K Jingle Walk/Run, benefiting the scholarship fund that honors the former director of Pennsylvania College of Technology's physician assistant program, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, on the college's main campus.
