Penn College joined The Guthrie Clinic in hosting the Northern Tier Regional Rural Health Summit on Wednesday. More than 100 health care leaders, policymakers and community partners converged on Penn College’s main campus to address pressing challenges and opportunities facing rural health care in Bradford, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming counties.

From family-friendly to frightfully fun, Penn College celebrated Halloween with several events, many of them longstanding traditions.

In honor of Veterans Day, Penn College News extends its thanks to all who have served or continue to serve in the U.S. military. Across campus, 160 Penn College students and 53 employees are veterans or currently serving.

A beautiful autumn day welcomed 1,740 prospective students and guests to the second fall Open House at Pennsylvania College of Technology, a 7% year-to-year increase in attendance.

“Masses of the Undone,” the work of contemporary artist Adrian Gor, will be on exhibit in The Gallery at Penn College until Nov. 25. A reception will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13, with a gallery talk set for 5:30 p.m.

In 2025, Bardo Gymnasium – dedicated in 1937 as the new gym for Williamsport High School – underwent an interior transformation: a complete replacement of the building’s original gym floor and a series of other updates, including a renovation of its main entrance lobby. The lobby became home on Wednesday to a time capsule to be opened in 2050.

Dining Services’ eighth annual Soup for the Soul event, held on Thursday, raised $1,875 to help Penn College students and their families through The Cupboard, an on-campus food pantry for students who are experiencing food insecurity.

The 15th Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation Dinner & Auction raised a total of $171,990 for student scholarships at the college.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Financial Aid Office will assist current and future college students and their families in completing the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Summerlike weather made for the perfect setting this weekend as more than 1,500 guests visited Pennsylvania College of Technology for its first of two Fall Open Houses.
