A group of state representatives recently visited Pennsylvania College of Technology to learn more about the emergency management & homeland security program and further explore the Multiple Interactive Learning Objectives system.

Penn College and the Scouting America Susquehanna Council teamed up on Saturday to offer 20 merit badges in the college’s state-of-the-art labs, with instruction from the college’s faculty experts.

Forty-two girls, in kindergarten to sixth grade, attended Penn College’s annual Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic on Feb. 8, where they not only received instruction from Penn College’s women’s athletes and coaches, but learned wider lessons about self-esteem and what it means to be a girl in sports.
