Pennsylvania College of Technology held a commencement ceremony at the Community Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 18, for the 380 students who petitioned to graduate following the Fall 2010 semester. A Penn College graduate is among 38 professionals recognized at the recent fall board meeting of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence in Scottsdale, Ariz. Robb S. Schenck, a May 1999 graduate in automotive technology now employed at BZ Motors in Lewisburg, was selected as the Chrysler/ASE Master Automobile Technician of the Year.

The family of a Pennsylvania College of Technology alumna who was a well-known pastry chef in Williamsport has established a scholarship fund at the college in her memory. The Barbara Johnson Memorial Pastry Arts Scholarship will provide annual awards to students in Penn College's baking and pastry arts associate-degree major.
