The recent efforts of two Pennsylvania College of Technology alumni and the generosity of their employer will impact the next generation of manufacturing and machining students. The duo of Clinton Bettner and Kyle Baker helped facilitate the donation of a die-sinking EDM machine from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory to the college.

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented its Distinguished Alumni Award to Jacob D. Fisher, of Cogan Station, during Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies, held May 16 at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center in Williamsport. Fisher graduated magna cum laude from Penn College in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in welding & fabrication engineering technology.
