Twenty-one students recently graduated from the practical nursing program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus, with a ceremony held Dec. 16. The students chose N. Kim Johnson, a flight nurse for Geisinger Medical Center and a substitute clinical instructor in the program, as the distinguished speaker for the ceremony. Larry L.

Pennsylvania College of Technology held a commencement ceremony at the Community Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 18, for the 380 students who petitioned to graduate following the Fall 2010 semester. The student speaker was Eric D. Felker, of Littlestown, who received a bachelor’s degree in information technology: web and applications development concentration. Also speaking was Dennis F.

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented a Distinguished Alumni Awardon Saturdayto Dr. Angela S. Lutz, who practices dentistry at the Children's Dental Centre of York.

A Penn College graduate is among 38 professionals recognized at the recent fall board meeting of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence in Scottsdale, Ariz. Robb S. Schenck, a May 1999 graduate in automotive technology now employed at BZ Motors in Lewisburg, was selected as the Chrysler/ASE Master Automobile Technician of the Year.

McKeon, department head for natural sciences in Penn College's School of Integrated Studies, performs the role of "Phil/Gator Man" in "Duck Hunter Shoots Angel," which begins a two-week run Friday at the Community Theatre League, 100 W. Third St. In the comedy, written by Mitch Albom of "Tuesdays With Morrie" fame, two bumbling Alabama duck hunters think they've shot down an angel.

The family of a Pennsylvania College of Technology alumna who was a well-known pastry chef in Williamsport has established a scholarship fund at the college in her memory. The Barbara Johnson Memorial Pastry Arts Scholarship will provide annual awards to students in Penn College's baking and pastry arts associate-degree major.

Ryan M. Arnold, of Limerick, who graduated in December 2006 with an associate degree in collision repair technology, shared his industry insight with several classes of Penn College students Monday afternoon.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Fall 2010 Career Fair was held Oct.

During the recent Homecoming 2010 activities, Pennsylvania College of Technology presented Outstanding Varsity Athletic Alumni Awards to Amber L. Dreese, of Williamsport, and Matthew R. Haile, of Sunbury. Dreese graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in applied human services.
