Pennsylvania College of Technology recently hosted 13 educators – representing 10 schools and three states – at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center for a two-day diesel externship consisting of classroom and hands-on experience.

Before the Fall 2025 semester begins, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences will welcome a select group of incoming students to participate in a two-week “Pre-Health Plunge” designed to prepare them for prerequisite coursework. Made possible through a gift from AllOne Charities, the pilot program is open to students planning to enter their pre-program semester in a nursing or other health science major at the college in August.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed Kathleen M. Swank as director of residence life. Swank succeeds Timothy J. Mallery, who retired in May. She began her duties earlier this month. Swank comes to Penn College from Penn State, where most recently she was assistant director, residence life.
