Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro is offering several easy-to-learn computer classes beginning this month. The classes are taught by qualified instructors at a comfortable pace for all levels of adult learners.

Pennsylvania College of Technology has purchased three properties at the north end of its main campus to expand parking, and the college has leased another property in Williamsport to house its welding program while extensive renovations take place at an on-campus instructional facility. For adults seeking the skills needed to succeed in a changing world, Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering free information sessions during its Open House event on Saturday, March 28. The informal one-hour sessionsare appropriate for all adults and will help participants discover how one class, or a few years of classes, can help them achieve their full potential.

Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering a specialty license plate for Pennsylvania motorists who wish to show their support for the college. The plate is available for $74 $50 of which benefits Alumni Relations at Penn College. The remaining $24 is for a processing fee that is paid to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Brandon J. Close, of Williamsport, majoring in business administration: marketing concentration, has been chosen as February's Student of the Month by the Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Penn College hosted Chef Robert Kinkead, chef and owner of Kinkead's: An American Brasserie in Washington, D.C., from Feb. 25-27 as part of its Visiting Chef Series. The series invites accomplished chefs to campus to mentor and work alongside School of Hospitality students over several days, culminating in an elaborate scholarship-benefit dinner in Le Jeune Chef restaurant.

More than 100 people attended the Multicultural Society's third annual Gospel Concert on Saturday in the ACC Auditorium. The club is a student organization designed to promote diversity and cultural awareness on campus and in the community. Each year, the proceeds of the Gospel Concert are donated to a community organization with which club members volunteer their time helping children.
