Steven J. Moff, professor of business administration/marketing, received three official government citations honoring his devotion to the Little League Challenger Division, an adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

Approximately 30 guests attended the annual gala of Penn College’s Student Nurses’ Association. The event featured a catered meal, raffle baskets and bingo.

A two-win week allowed the women’s basketball team not only to surpass last season’s win total, but to match the most wins since the 2008-09 squad won 16 games. The victories also clinched a United East Conference postseason playoff berth.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently appointed Rachel Smith as its director of employee relations. Smith, who began her duties on Jan. 12, brings to the position more than 20 years of experience.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s recent Lunch & Learn brought more than 60 community members, alumni, students, faculty and staff together for an afternoon of connection, reflection and dialogue. The event was part of the city’s annual Dream Week, which honors the life and legacy of the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Last week, four Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestlers reached the podium in an invitational, and the basketball teams split in their games, each winning once and falling once.

With students’ return to Penn College for the Spring semester, cuddly canines came back, too, for “Hot Dog, You’re Back!” Employees brought their dogs to campus to add a "touch" of furry friendliness during students’ first week back.

Thirteen students, joined by three faculty members, an assistant dean and two alumni, just wrapped up an impactful four days at World of Concrete, an international trade show that encompasses 700,000 square feet inside and outside the Las Vegas Convention Center. Among highlights, faculty members Franklin H. Reber, instructor of building construction technology, and Joe F. DiBucci, instructor of building construction technology: concrete and masonry, were interviewed on the Coatings Coffee Shop sound stage.
