Students in Donald Nibert's Wildlife Management course took to their spacious outdoor laboratory Tuesday to recondition nesting structures for next year's ducks and geese.

The latest exhibit at the Gallery at Penn College, "Works From Wood," opened with a reception from 3:30-7 p.m. Tuesday. The exhibit features the work of master wood engraver Raymond Gloeckler. David M. Moyer, instructor of graphic design, offered a demonstration of wood cutting and wood engraving.

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Financial Aid Office recently held a one-stop event at which student-veterans could learn about a variety of educational and financial benefits. "When speaking with Penn College student-veterans about their educational benefits, we realized that they are unaware of the many outside resources available to them," said Marcia H.

As with the college's previous e-mail system, Outlook allows employees to search for available meeting times on other employees' calendars. However, by default, Outlook displays only two months of a person's calendar information.

A faculty member at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Lumley Aviation Center will contribute a monthly column to a national magazine. The first submission by Thomas D. Inman, associate professor of avionics in the college's School of Transportation Technology titled "Theory & Practice: Teaching Technicians to Think Beyond Troubleshooting" appears in the January issue of Avionics News.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer a variety of events and activities for the college community and public throughout February to commemorate Black History Month. All events are being sponsored by the Student Activities Office with the exception of the Feb.

On Dec. 12, Jim Clark, manager, training, of Aker Philadelphia Shipyard, paid a visit to Pennsylvania College of Technology's welding department to share with faculty and students some information about the shipyard, its products and procedures, and some opportunities for welding employment with the shipyard.
