Resident Assistants at The Village at Penn College hosted their annual Villapalooza from 9-11 p.m. Sunday. The event included Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, RA Clayton Morrow as DJ, casino tables and mocktails. For the first time since the tradition began in 2001, the RAs decided on a late-night event with glowing mocktail glasses and outdoor video screens.
Members of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society student chapter traveled recently to a quiz-bowl competition in Baltimore, where they showed their knowledge against industry representatives. The Student Bowl was held during the annual ISA District 2 Leadership Conference, April 13-14.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "Visions in Wood," an exhibit of carvings by Kenneth E. Carl, former Williamsport Area Community College president and Williamsport Technical Institute director. Both institutions were forerunners of Penn College. The exhibit will run May 15 to June 17.
Penn College's printer-cartridge recycling program continues to accept inkjet-printer cartridges from college-owned and home computers. Since it started in March 2006, the program has added more than $3,600 to the general scholarship fund. Joseph G. Geffre, director of mail and document/shipping and receiving services, coordinates the program.
