The Student Activities Office hosted its third "Awesome Women Exemplars" program in observance of Women's History Month on Tuesday night, honoring nearly 50 women from the campus community. Students, faculty and staff were encouraged to nominate any Pennsylvania College of Technology female (faculty, staff or student) they admire.

The Office of Residence Life announces the appointment of Israel Laguer, who started Tuesday as the new coordinator of residence life for the Rose Street Apartments complex. He attended Rowan University of Glassboro, N.J., where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology with a concentration in leadership studies.

The Gallery at Penn College, on the third floor of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Madigan Library, will host "The Fool's Journey," an exhibit of etchings by printmaker Brian D. Cohen, from March 29 to April 25. An opening reception for the exhibit will take place Tuesday, April 1, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with a talk by the artist scheduled at 5:30 p.m.

Penn College's Communication and Literature faculty teach not only general education courses, but also a variety of courses that qualify as humanities electives.

Pennsylvania College of Technology will continue its "In Perfect Harmony: The Concert Series in The Gallery at Penn College" with a performance by jazz pianist Arthur Goldstein on March 29.
