Donations from six companies have allowed Pennsylvania College of Technology to purchase engineering-related instructional equipment through a grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Members of the Penn College community had the opportunity to meet the players and coaches of the Fall 2008 athletic teams during a "Meet the Wildcats" night Wednesday in the Field House. Douglas T. Byerly has been named director of athletics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University. "Byerly joins Penn College with 22 years of athletic experience: first as an athletic director, coach and teacher at Line Mountain High School, and later in athletic development and admissions at Lock Haven University.
