Students in the Surgical Technology Program at Pennsylvania College of Technology gathered Sept. 16 to celebrate National Surgical Technologist week, observed annually the third week of September. Surgical technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients.

David Munn Senior David Munn, of Athens, was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Week and the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 15.  In the team’s 2-0 week, Munn recorded two shutouts and made six saves.  The honors are Munn’s first of the season.
