Nicholas A. Anderson, a welding and fabrication engineering technology major from Warren, is the Student Government Association's latest Student of the Month at Pennsylvania College of Technology. An active participant in Penn College's Greek community, he is the treasurer of his fraternity Chi Phi and serves as vice president of finance for the Inter-Fraternity Council.
Seniors Kimberly Daley and Samantha Wallish were honored by the Penn College women's soccer team Thursday night. The School of Hospitality hosted Austrian wine expert Andreas Wickhoff on Penn College's main campus this week. Throughout his stay, Wickhoff talked with classes about wine pairing and the flavors and origins of Austrian wine. Wickhoff, managing director of Premium Estates of Austria, travels the world to promote wines of Austria's top producers.
The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team honored seven graduating members Monday prior to the team's match against Misericordia University. In front of a packed Athletic Field crowd, Clayton Bretz, Nicholas Grasso, Isaac Hostetter, Seth Rearick, Chris Rougeot, Morris Sayon and Dan Shaffer were honored for their hard work and dedication to Wildcat soccer.
A "Rose Street Got Talent" showcase, in which students competed for prizes while spectators enjoyed a fall-themed dinner buffet, was held Oct. 21 in Dauphin Hall.
