The award was bestowed in the documentary category for a "degrees that work.tv" episode featuring the plastics industry.

Mathers, associate professor of medical-surgical nursing, focused her doctoral studies on improving outcomes for patients with central venous access devices. Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley was among those attending a gathering of the Governor's Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission on Penn College's main campus Tuesday evening. A $1,500 grant from the Easton Sports Development Foundation II helped the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team defray travel expenses for its recent trip to national competition in Harrisonburg, Va. The Wildcats finished second overall during the U.S. Intercollegiate Archery Championships, which were held May 19-22 at James Madison University.
