Pennsylvania College of Technology, in conjunction with the Penn State University Athletic Conference, has announced the recipients of the Winter/Spring 2012 All-Academic Team award. The award is given to student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or better in the semester of competition. This year, 34 student-athletes made the grade, five more than last year’s class.
High school students in the Penn College NOW program, which allows them to earn college credits in a number of curricular areas, underwent final testing in collision repair Wednesday. Close to 1,300 seventh- to ninth-graders and their chaperones attended Career Day, a semi-annual event presented May 14 by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Outreach for K-12 Office. Pennsylvania College of Technology held three commencement ceremonies at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport on May 11-12 for more than 960 students who petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2012 semester. At 3 p.m. Friday, the ceremony honored students from the schools of Industrial and Engineering Technologies, Integrated Studies, and Natural Resources Management.
