The Community Arts Center's Director's Chair Award for 2010 has been presented to the Williamsport Sun-Gazette. The award is bestowed annually to recognize and honor those who have had a significant impact on the success of the Community Arts Center, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Vol. 8, No. 33 (Through Sunday, March 28) Penn College Wildcat Tales Club Volleyball The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's volleyball team extended its perfect season to 15-0 before losing to Harrisburg Area Community College on Saturday and finishing third in the Middle Atlantic Club Volleyball Championships.

A recent donation from ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance's Norristown office, part of the California-based ValleyCrest Landscape Companies, will benefit students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Ornamental Horticulture Program. Penn College's Students in Free Enterprise chapter was second runner-up at the SIFE USA Regional Competition in Philadelphia on Monday. More than 35 teams attended this year's competition, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Pennsylvania College of Technology recently appointed a director of mathematics and general education in the School of Integrated Studies. Joanna K. Pruden, an assistant professor of mathematics and previously the mathematics department head, began the new duties on March 15.
