Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for theperiod ending Dec. 4. Fenton averaged 18.5 points per game in a 1-1 week including a season-high 22 points against Penn State Mont Alto helping the Wildcats to their first win of the season. He also totaled 14 rebounds, three steals and three assists.

Joseph J. Balduino has been appointed director of recruitment at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Before joining the Penn College staff, Balduino served as assistant director of admissions at Lycoming College. In his new position at Penn College, he directs the annual recruiting plan and supervises admissions representatives and related staff.

In the first-ever Staff/Faculty vs. Students whiffle-ball game Wednesday night in Bardo Gym, the students came out swinging and scored seven runs in the first two innings. The staff/faculty team scored once in the bottom of the third and twice more in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Bradley M. Webb has been appointed director of student affairs administration at Pennsylvania College of Technology. In the position, Webb is responsible for connecting many of the functions of Student Affairs to the Penn College student body. He'll be tasked with initiating programs and services in such diverse areas as parents initiatives, assessment and community involvement.
