A "Passport to Opportunity" for high school students potentially interested in the accounting profession will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Bush Campus Center.

Freshman Jake Shedden, of Canton, was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association's Cross-Country Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 10. Shedden, a graduate of North Penn High School, won and set a course record at the Albright Invitational on Oct. 9 with a time of 27:27 in the 8K race. The Wildcats placed second overall.
