Befitting the themed focus on campus leaders − those from earlier days and those who continue their student mentorship as employees and graduates − Penn College Homecoming 2012 was one to remember.

Caitlyn Curley Sophomore Caitlyn Curley (Middletown) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and Penn State University Athletic Conference women’s volleyball Setter of the Week for the period ending Oct. 7.  Curley was on point with her passing, totaling 83 assists (4.4 assists per set) on a 6-0 week for the Wildcats. The pre-nursing major added 21 kills and 22 digs.

David Munn Junior David Munn (Athens) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and Penn State University Athletic Conference men’s soccer Goalie of the Week for the period ending Sept.

Courtney Gernert Sophomore Courtney Gernert (Palmyra) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and Penn State University Athletic Conference women’s volleyball Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 30. Gernert, a graphic design major, racked up an impressive 38 kills, 76 digs and five service aces in the Wildcats’ 3-2 week.
