Seasons ended for three Pennsylvania College of Technology fall sports teams last week while the college’s women’s soccer squad prepares for this week’s United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships.

Sophomore physical fitness specialist student Cameron P. Foultz uses skin-fold calipers to measure body fat on the upper arm of freshman wrestler Alexander J. Rodichok. Students in Penn College's physical fitness specialist major volunteered two afternoons in College Health Services to provide health assessments for Wildcat wrestlers.

Christopher Brennan Senior Christopher Brennan, of New Hope, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Oct. 13.  In the team’s 3-0 week, Brennan scored six goals – two in each of the team’s wins.  He also recorded two assists, bringing to 14 his points total for the week.

Colleen Bowes Freshman Colleen Bowes, of Wayne, has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Goalie of the Week for the period ending Oct. 13.  In the team’s 2-1 week, Bowes recorded two shutouts and notched 17 saves against No. 5 Alfred State.  She allowed only one goal in the three games, with a .955 save percentage.

On Sunday, the Penn College women’s volleyball team honored its two graduating members prior to the team’s match against Penn State Greater Allegheny. This past Saturday, the Penn College men’s soccer team honored its five graduating seniors prior to the start of the match against Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Joining their families at midfield are, from left, soccer seniors Anthony Saitie (22), Cody Sollenberger (15), Caleb Wise (11), Phil Bair (7), Christopher Brennan (2) and David Munn (1).

Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross-country teams have won 10 consecutive conference championships and 11 of 12, and they seek continued success in Saturday’s 12:45 p.m. Penn State University Athletic Conference Championships at Penn State Scranton.
