After a regular season that included four first-place and one second-place finish in invitationals, Pennsylvania College of Technology golfers will seek conference and national honors in tournament action Monday and Tuesday.

The women’s soccer team defeated Lycoming College 3-1 Wednesday to win the annual Battle for the Lumber for the first time in Pennsylvania College of Technology history. Christopher Brennan Senior forward Christopher Brennan, of New Hope, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 29.  In the team’s 3-0 week, Brennan recorded five goals and a team-leading 11 points.  He scored two goals each in wins against Penn State Mont Alto and Bryn Athyn College.

The Penn College community dressed accordingly and supported the Wildcat women's volleyball team in its "Pink Out" match against Elmira College on Tuesday night.

Cathleen Aviles Freshman Cathleen Aviles, of Robesonia, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the period ending Sept.

Calvin Foust Sophomore Calvin Foust, of Palmyra, was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for the period ending Sept. 22. Foust led the Wildcats in the team’s only invitational of the week at Penn State Schuylkill, shooting a 79 to tie for first among all the golfers in attendance.

In their best combined week of the fall sports season, Pennsylvania College of Technology athletic teams recorded seven wins and just three losses.
