Pennsylvania College of Technology held a ceremony Friday at its Energy Technology Education Center to dedicate a drilling rig simulator that supports hands-on learning for the college’s natural gas training offerings. The simulator was purchased with U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training funds.

Ten graphic design students at Pennsylvania College of Technology will exhibit their work as part of “Design: 2014,” an annual exhibition showcasing seniors’ creative portfolio work in The Gallery at Penn College. Posters, books, magazine spreads and logos are some of the featured items in this culminating project of the students’ college curriculum.

One of the longest-running instructional programs at Pennsylvania College of Technology – and one of the oldest continuous automotive programs in the nation – celebrated its 100th anniversary Friday in the Parkes Automotive Technology Center.

About 50 graduates of Williamsport Technical Institute, Pennsylvania College of Technology's earliest forerunner, were among the distinguished visitors Friday for a 14th annual reunion. With commencement barely a month away, Penn College's campus leaders recently brought the curtain down on another impressive year.
