The Residence Life Office at Pennsylvania College of Technology has announced its exemplary student and on-campus housing programs for November and December. A freshman in Pennsylvania College of Technology's welding and fabrication engineering technology major recently advanced to a new level of competition that will culminate at the U.S. Open Weld Trials at the SkillsUSA Championships in Kansas City, Mo., in June. Westley A. Smith, Mifflinburg, plans to become an engineer after earning a bachelor's degree from Penn College.

A team of construction management students from Pennsylvania College of Technology placed first at a recent regional competition in New Jersey, winning $2,000 and an all-expense-paid trip to the national level in Texas. The team one of three six-member groups to represent Penn College at the Nov.
